Land Rover Discovery - Black 'DISCOVERY' Front Bonnet Lettering
Enhance the front of your Land Rover Discovery by fitting these gloss black letters to the bonnet of your vehicle.
These replace the existing dull grey LAND ROVER letters on your Discovery bonnet with the new 2014 style Discovery lettering. In addition these letters are the same size and dimensions as the letters used on the new 2014 Discovery models.
We supply our lettering with our own design of template that we have developed in house made from thick card to ensure the lettering is well located. Our template has the mid point marked to allow you to get the position of the lettering correct as you cant use the position of your old lettering as a reference point as you are replacing LAND ROVER with Discovery
You can see in the pictures the template positioned over the original lettering.
This listing is for the letters D I S C O V E R Y with pre fitted automotive grade self adhesive tape made from ABS plastic (same as original lettering) with a gloss black paint finish.
Not the cheapest lettering kit for sale but we believe we offer the best value when you look at the quality and package we are offering.
We also have this lettering available in chrome, matt black and silver.
These are not genuine Land Rover parts, however they are a high quality aftermarket upgrade.
Fitting Details
- Position the templates over the original lettering and mark the edge location of the templates then remove templates.
- Remove the original silver lettering (use hot air to help soften the adhesive holding the original letters on).
- Clean the area with the pre-clean wipe.
- Put the templates back into position.
- Remove the liner from the adhesive tape on the rear of each letter and stick the letters to the vehicle.
- Fitting tip - Mark the position of your original letters before removing them to ensure the new letters are correctly located.
